If I go to the thrift store, I come home with some good kid books. I went to my first library sale last summer. The ease of ordering books online can be dangerous for me. Congrats on your great finds! Enjoy!Melkhinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2355574191261679830.post-71226591607138437682005-10-09T01:06:17.000-05:002005-10-09T01:06:17.000-05:00I love great library fins like that :) ... one of ...I love great library fins like that :) ... one of my favorite books when I was little was "The Giant Jam Sandwich" and I love to read that one to my DD ... it brings back great childhood memories. I also used to love to read "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". When I think about books I loved it reminds me that even as a child I had such a love of the library ... which hasn't diminished a bit :)

~Heathergal51noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2355574191261679830.post-58860117161419013272005-10-09T15:19:04.000-05:002005-10-09T15:19:04.000-05:00i LOVE good ol' amelia. my kids like her too....i LOVE good ol' amelia. my kids like her too.

scratch scratch,

jenJenIGnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2355574191261679830.post-19412035832795504442005-10-09T16:18:14.000-05:002005-10-09T16:18:14.000-05:00I had SO many favorite books when I was little. White's books (Trumpet of the Swan & Charlotte's Web are my favorites), Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak, the Dr. Seuss books, and many others.momof3feistykidsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2355574191261679830.post-16062944851236160742005-10-09T18:38:48.000-05:002005-10-09T18:38:48.000-05:00Yep - I had lots of favorite books! I also loved the Little House books and have the whole set from my childhood. Of course, having boys the only book they would even consider reading was "Farmer Boy" and it was not a big hit. *sigh* I loved the Cat in the Hat books and my youngest still collects them. He has all mine from when I was little and has picked up others through the years. I think he has all the books now. How wonderful you found such great books! Don't you love the library sales?
