I'm lazy...

...but that shouldn't surprise y'all.  I'm too lazy to repost the pics into a blog entry.  Yup...click, click, click of the mouse is just asking too much of me.  So if you'd like to see pics, just click on the picture-y part (ahem, JenIg) of my flickr badge on my sidebar.  Be proud of me...I did write titles to the pics so you know where the pic was taken.  Besides, it's a bit embarrassing to look at (once again) all of the pics of David and me.   I think we kinda took away from some of the beautiful scenery...well, at least at the Great Wall.

I do, however, want to mention that it was very, very cold.  And windy.  And smoggy.  But the people were great, hubby and I spent lots of time together (sans kids!), the fish that you see on that platter (head and all) was deeeelicious, shopping was an adventure, and the Great Wall was truly breathtaking.

And that's all I have to say about that.

Oh wait, in case you think I jest about the Starbucks-- they really are everywhere-- even in communist China (it's not just for McD's anymore)!

Hmmm...I can get a combo meal at McD's for less than $2US, but Starbucks still costs a little less than 32RMB ($4US)...That's relatively the same price we paid for David's new "Armani" wallet at the Silk Market!

Tomorrow I might write all about my day at the museum, zoo and my opinion of BodyWorld3 (I haven't seen it but why would I want to see it?-- blech!).   Until then, I hope y'all have a great night!

I added you too. Looking forward to getting to know you better. I am still very new at this blogging thing, so it might take a bit to figure out how to communicate.

Have a nice day!

I hadn't seen it either until my dh and I were married (we'd known each other for eight years at that point!).

I believe it was the "chalice from the palace" and "pestle" that were being used to poison someone. They were supposed to remember this phrase, but everyone kept coming up with other phrases and they all got confused. It's been a while.

We're talking about letting our 6yo watch it soon. She's just beginning to understand humor.

Thanks for the note!

I've heard that Starbucks is everywhere. Did you hear that they're going to start selling breakfast sandwiches?

Thanks for commenting about my great-grandmothers book. I hope you do get the family history stories on tape. We were going to do that before my grandmother died (on the other side, not the side the book is about) and she died before we got it. Even if you put the tapes away in a box, you will have them for when you have time to compile them later.

Hello there-I'm new to HSB and I thoroughly enjoyed your blog today. Can't wait to read about the exhibit.

However I saw you used Math U See and was interested on your input about it? I too love a good decafe late!

Hi Marsha,

I posted a bit of history behind the signs in answer to your question.

The evolutionists are literally "hell bent" on selling us this trash that you found at the natural history museum. It doesn't surprise me in the least. It saddens me though, all of the people who have allowed themselves to be deceived by it, even some professing Christians.
