You know you are living in 2005 when...

1. You accidentally enter your password on the microwave.

2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards  in years.

3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of 3.

4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.

5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is

that they don't have e-mail addresses.

6. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home
to help you carry in the groceries.

7. Every commercial on television has a web site at the bottom of the screen.

8. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go and get it.

10. You get up in the morning and go on line before getting your coffee.

11. You start tilting your head sideways to smile. : )

12. You're reading this and nodding and laughing.

13. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to forward this message.

14. You are too busy to notice there was no #9 on this list.

15. You actually scrolled back up to check that there wasn't a #9 on this list.
AND NOW YOU ARE LAUGHING at yourself.

I've seen this list (or a similar one), but it's still funny. :-)

Thank you for commenting on my blog again, and thanks for being my friend. ;-)

Don't know what part of Texas you are in. We used to live in DFW. We're in the Southeast now. So, glad for some cooler weather!

Okay, I checked to see if there was a #9 or not!! ROFL!!! I love your list and it's SO true!!! LOL

Thank you for your sweet comments on my blog. I'm actually almost 44 - as of November 8th! You're a sweetheart to say that about me! My boys are really young men, now. Believe me, the older they get, the more wonderful they are and it's hard to believe because they are always so wonderful to you!!

I actually am a craft designer who sells my original designs to magazines and books. I haven't done anything for almost a year because of my illness, but am itching to get back at it. The design on the stool was not an original by me, however. It's a Sandra Malone design that I tweeked the colors to so it would match my kitchen.

Thank you so much for your prayers and friendship!! I am so thankful for all my blogging friends!! ((HUGS)) Blessings!!

...curling up in bed with a good book.

I'm originally an army brat. My dh (a preacher's kid) and I got married in Lake Worth 12 years ago. (After I posted my earlier comment, I noticed the link you have to Lake Worth garage sales.) Since our marriage, we've lived in Fort Worth, Plano, Princeton (all in Texas). Then, we lived for three years in Minnesota... and now we are in Chattanooga -- will be four years the end of November. Haven't ever been to that place you mentioned in North Carolina, but we've been thru Murphy and Ashville and surrounding areas.
