Spring Forward!

Don't forget to set your clocks an hour ahead!

Now it's really late, isn't it?     And I don't get it when people say I'm losing an hour of sleep.  You'd be assuming I had the hour to begin with... It just doesn't make sense, especially to go on and on and on about it all day long...on the radio, the news...  My goodness-- just get it over with already!

I personally enjoyed moving all the clocks ahead an hour and then telling the kids it was past their bedtime.

But Mom!  We still have 45 minutes until bedtime!

Oh no, sweetheart, it's already 15 minutes PAST your bedtime!  So you better hurry up and get in bed.

Does that make me a mean mommy???  I probably shouldn't take so much pleasure in these things...but there's nothing like an extra hour of peace and quiet in the evening before my bedtime!  Ahhhh...

We forgot last time.. and I didn't watch the news before going to bed, (I know they would have reminded me had I watched it.) LOL

Oh, dear. You're one of those people. The kind that like the time change. As for me and my house...we long to move to Arizona. :-D

i'm right there with you on that one! i actually like springing forward rather than falling backward. babies always get messed up with that extra hour and i end up getting up earlier than i like to.

YAY, i finally have found somebody who also like to change clocks. I don't know why I like it, but i just do. I can always count on you, Marshie

We have no time change here in Peru and I'd never really considered liking it or not. I guess I don't mind. I just have to keep track of what you all are doing with the time changes back there so that I know if it'd be too late or too early for a phone call etc. As for whether I would enjoy setting my clocks forwards or back I don't know but I guess whatever would make it so that I'd have more time to sleep in in the morning would be my favorite! ...and I guess that makes me a mean mommy too! ;) "Oh, honey, go back to bed, it isn't time to wake up yet!"

We did the EXACT same thing....it was fun! :o) Kaitlyn didn't fall for it, though. That's the sad thing about having teenagers.

I had to lay down twice today. Between the humidity and yes, the lost of sleep, this girl is tired.

...were my dh and i. So our kids went to bed at the old time. Somewhere around midnight or so I got an email from a friend who mentioned the time change. Needless to say I missed church in the am but went in the evening.

Thanks for welcoming me to my new home, tee hee. And yes, moving in cyber blog land is equally a pain. I decided not to move everything over, just start afresh!

I just heard that next year they will extend Daylight Savings Time by a month. I personally would love to live where they didn't change the time. Drives me nutz to have to remember it, then go around the house and change all the clocks. I used to have several watches and kept forgetting to change them and always had the wrong time. Solved that issue. I just don't wear a watch anymore! LOLOLOL

I saw your post on Jen I's site about Korean food ~ I just have to say it is my absolute favorite kind of food. I actually eat kimchee :) I taught in a korean school for awhile and was in my glory. We just learned how to make bulgogi on the grill. Anyway, it's almost dinner time and now I am starving!! Have a great night,
