Sweet Shot: housework

I will be the first to admit that this is not technically a Sweet Shot when it comes to photography. The white balance is off and the composition is boring (among other things).

But when it comes to my plain old 35 year old eyes, seeing this kind of progress in only ONE WEEK is VERY SWEET indeed!

Before:

Day 1:

Day 4:

Day 6:

Day 7 (today!)-- looks similar to day 6, but there is drywall in that room now! And the covered walkway to the garage is almost finished.

In case the red shorts didn't catch your eye, see where the arrow is pointing? That's my man. He did all the electrical and a/c duct work himself!

The crew agrees that he's not bad for a white guy. :) And I'm sure everyone else would agree that it's not bad for a pilot.

I'm linking up with Darcy for Sweet Shot Tuesday.

white balance? composition? huh? Just cause you're the birthday girl doesn't mean you can throw around words to confuse a girl! ;) LOL

Seriously, your house looks amazing! You should be proud and I think it definitely fits for a 'Sweet Shot'.

Marsha, I think it is pretty sweet! Looking forward to watching the progression. As for all the other mumbo jumbo... I am doing my best to learn all about that:)

Ha! I finally know what those words mean! As for the photos, I cannot believe so much progress in such a short amount of time. And not a nary of complaint with having a house turned upside down. What a transformation you are doing. Windows tomorrow and it is raining and will tomorrow too and all I can think of is the mud and dirt in the house, and the fact that the installers are going to get we because we have no gutters on the house! They are not going to like that.

I can't wait to see the end result! It's always nice to have extra space.

Talking about photography.....Have you taken classes? or just picked up a lot expertise by trial and error?

Your pictures are always so awesome!!

Looks great! Progress is always encouraging! Five years ago we bought a 100 yr old house, we completely gutted it (using the term we loosely here) - it's done but there are always a few more projects. So I can relate to how elated you feel when you see progress and the end of a project!! :) You take beautiful pictures, Marsha - don't confuse me with all those high falutin' terms - :)
